I participated in a color challenge this weekend put on by the two very talented photographers over at 2 phototogs. the challenge was to pick any color and go out and spend the weekend shooting it. it didn’t take me long to figure out what color i was going to shoot … Ron has been OBSESSED with this color since he was a little boy, he created our business name and logo based on his love for this color, my office and most of the accents in our house are this color …. if you haven’t guessed it yet it is Lime Green. I had alot of fun with this challenge, at first it was a lot harder than I thought it would be, but once I got started I was on a roll. I drove thru out the city, I went into the mall (got alot of strange looks there!) I drove down all the backstreets as I chauffeured my kids around. as I was driving around I found the coolest little gift store called Chartreuse that had a ton of Lime Green stuff in it, I asked the owner if it was okay if I took some photos and she not only said yes she led me thru out the store showing me all the Lime Green stuff she had, she was even pulling stuff out of the back room for me, she was so helpful!!! It was quite enjoyable and a great challenge to get me shooting outside of my little box.
